Only 3:40pm on a lazy cold (10C) Sunday afternoon here in Aus. I'm sorting photos from last weekends solo camping trip to a local State Park (which was a nice break from adult responsibility)

    Baseball shots

Well I am not D70, but I do have some baseball shots. These were shot on a less than perfect day, in and out clouds with sprinkles which can be seen in some of the shots.
Lots more available if you like. It was a doubleheader Minor leagues play shortened games for doubleheaders, 6 and 7 innings respectively.

Like the distance compression in that last one. As akid I always thought that the pitcher seemed awfully close to the batter when you are in the game.

Here's another one from the same match posted above. It was a hotly contested game.

    More Baseball

Tim, Don't think that is what is meant by a 'header'.
    More baseball pics:
#1 Big Nug, Canon with 400 F4. Talked briefly with him during the game.
#2 Checked closely at high magnification of image, bat is flexing at impact.
#3 Man on third is waiting for a hit in order to score a run. (The reason I formatted pic this way in PP)
#4 Batter lost grip on bat. and it ended up in section 107. Fortunately no one was there to be hit.
