Got real close, 12' or so. Nearly stepped on him at first. He was on the ground when I stepped around a leftover snow pile from Yesterday.

Bright sun and temps jumped to the 50's Farenheit both days. Snow was almost entirely gone by late Mon. afternoon. What is left is from our Winter inundation of snow that we had through most of Jan. and Feb. With sub-zero and near zero (farenheit) cold many nights, the ground was frozen very deeply, so snow piles from plowing have taken longer than usual to melt off.

Bike shopping? Personally, I like the Beemer.
Got curious and looked at some of your flikr collection, loved the Stationary engines and old steam tractors.
    Oh, yeah the landscapes, too.

    Bike shopping?

No it was a guided ride I was volunteering on. All the photos are on another Flickr user account. Here.

That last shot looks like dodge-em cars in the rain.

Nice shots Tim. Tough to do when you are afloat.

    Falcon,
It looks bad. But there was no accident at that instance. The locals are used to their traffic system. And they didn't travel at high speed.

    D70Fan,
It was hard to do in very challenging light and moving subjects. I had to time the shot between the motion of the windscreen wipers.
No I wasn't afloat. I was safe, warm and dry in a Hummer H2. My 'apartheid' moment.
