    D70fan; Thanx. Are they irrigating, there? We have seen stories that they were cutting back on irrigation in many areas due to your drought.

    Irrigation goes on, but more fields are left fallow longer. Salinas sets on a relatively large aquifer fed by the Salinas river (we get our water here from that source as well). We'll just have to see how it all pans out. You can bet that higher food prices are in the offing.

    More seagulls

    Inflicting more seagulls on my patient friends at DCRP. Feel free to flame me.
    The last one I personally like as it shows what 24Mp can get you. Gull is at the top of a 50' light pole and yet I was amazed at the clarity of detail in the bird's eye, including the solar highlight. It is a major crop from a full frame image, some 600K before resizing for here.

    Dust spot in pics #1 and #3. Top of the image towards the right.
    At the very least clone it out or better still a sensor clean might be in order. Pic #3 is a little concerning. What is that horizontal line between the dust sport and the edge of the image?
