Thanks mate. I do like the shot a lot...no eye contact from Alex is a bummer though. Needed both...oh well...

i love how the v1 renders photos like iso200 film. There's a touch of bite to the files that's very appealing to my eye anyway. It's quite a unique file. And that little 18.5 lens is tack sharp from 1.8.

Nice keepsake Dread. I like the (accidental?) shirt tie-in to his name.

    Brilliant shot Rooz.
The sub textural analogy pointing to mankind's origins as a water creature is reinforced with the apparently naked child heading eyes closed and hence blindly to the source of human creation. The deliberate placement of the childs right hand in such a way as it appears to be almost touching the camera lens reinforces the contextural feeling of oneness with the viewer as if the child is wanting the viewer to join him in his journey. Your use of black and white strips away the colour and clutter of modern society and introduces a rawness to the image that further reinforces the primal nature of the action that the viewer is witness to.

"sub textural analogy" okay enough humanities grad school courses:-) My physics 101 wants to know how such a small stream of water was supporting the boy as he fell forward?
