Thanks. It's taken me 2 years to see the genius of the 1 system. Well that and the fact that its had an 80% price reduction.

I'll give you $500 for all YOUR Nikon and m4/3 gear. You obviously are not going to be the photographer in the family much longer and you may as well get out while there is still an honorable exit path.

Please tell me that he did not take the tree frog photo.

D70Fan: I really like the shot of the sand dunes -- it instils a sense of tranquillity.

Rooz: I did notice the V1 line but wasn't sure whether you had acquired yet another camera system, or an express (rocket powered) way of delivering them to the forum. I was however hugely impressed by the sheer beauty -- there's no other word for it -- of the image overall. Subject, composition, lighting, colour, image quality, (post processing?) -- all perfect.

And I agree with K1W1 that you now have DPR's problem -- your progeny will soon make you redundant!
Nikon D7000 and a bunch of Nikon stuff oh, and some Canon p&s's too

Yes Les...another camera line. lol it was just too cheap to pass up. Twin lens kit and flash for a hair over $450. Thats insane.

there is zero post in that shot. It's jpeg out of camera, lens fully extended...300mm. You can clearly see the very limited dynamic range of the sensor but I don't think you could miss focus if you tried.

80% price reduction - that definitely makes it a bargain. Looks to be delivering pretty good results too. I was close to getting one for my wife recently (not at that price though) but in the end she decided to go for a camcorder instead

That is interesting... as the wind was probably around 35 Knots, and the sand was stinging my face and arms when this was taken.

Would have sand blasted the paint off a lesser camera.
