Tim I'm surprised the ref let you stand that close to the goal. In Vic they usually will not let you inside the lines of the 6 metre box and many don't want you behind the goal line at all.

I do remember that there are some Aussie MLB players but they are often overshadowed by the prevalence of Hispanic players.
115K in 56? quite remarkable! US major League? Which teams and leagues? Wasn't aware that they played overseas B4 the late 80's when they were campaigning to get baseball added to the Olympics.

That shot was taken at 70 mm. There are areas that's off limit but behind the goal line isn't one of them. Maybe there's has never been any incidence.

I see by the ad poster on the fence that you do play baseball 'down under'

Yes. There are some baseball teams here as well. My son wanted to join a baseball team a few seasons back but I'd never get used to seeing him running around in tight like Robin Hood; so he had to be happy with soccer only.

Must be different uniforms... Pants? yes. Tights? Nope. Pro baseball played in shorts? Probably not. The slide into second (base) on a steal would be painfull.

    They eyes still have it!

That's OK, I 'll fix it with this from yesterday's pond walk. Met this fellow(?). resting in the grass and weeds on the edge of the pond, shot several with the big Tammy the decided to get close with the 'Bugma' and this is the result. Cropped from a larger image that has the entire wingspan. Maybe Good glass does have it's place or is it simply the 24MP without the AA filter?

    Another falc-tastic shot.

Rich, I don't know man. Maybe I'm missing something. Sometimes OOF works, not real sure about this one.

Not that my opinion means a great deal.
