Just testing the "non-working home upload" feature. Pictured (or not, as the case may be) is my son's wife's brother's son (work that one out!) playing half-court tennis. Learnings from the day: freezing moving subjects requires a faster shutter speed than I was using! Nikon D7000, 18-200VR, 1/320s at f/5.6 and ISO 100.

Update: No, didn't work. During the upload process I received a warning message saying that my selected photo was not a valid image file, which of course is nonsense. So that seems to be where the problem lies. I've uploaded the photo to my own domain and linked to that instead.

Nikon D7000 and a bunch of Nikon stuff oh, and some Canon p&s's too

For some reasons, I can't seem to upload the image files any more. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Ditto, although some have come up with a work-around. I haven't as yet.
Nice timing on the pic, Sir Les.

    Very nice photo Sir Les.

Yes Tim we're all having the problem. The solution until we get an answer from Jeff is that we should upload to a Flickr or similar and link to the image as Les did.

Thanks for the links to the reviews. I was looking at the Nikkor F2 and it was the vignetting that put me off. I was after a light lens and didn't want to splash the coin on the 1.4 for an occasional use lens.

    Update on posting problems:

Just received an answer from Jeff K. His comment is that this should not be happening and that he will look at the problem tonight when he returns home.

    And now it's fixed.

    A big thanks to Jeff.

Les, excellent shot of a future Australian Open champ.
