    Lmao.

And agree that I never get tired of Falcons bird shots. Absolutely magic... and seems the blindness is only temporary.

Our warm spell (80F) is over. It's back to normal for the central coast... ~65F. So you will get to cool down as you are passing through.

Falcon, Trying my hand at a bird shot. Yeah I know this is a gimme.

Seagulls are not particularly skittish... but easy subjects and always expecting to be fed.

Yes it is f/11, and not a macro... part of forgetting the mental checklist.

Too funny D70 but it's just the right DOF as it is. Very nice bird.

Yup. The irony of photography. It's not always the best shot technically that turns out to be a keeper.

I ventured out briefly to a new spot (for me), in the Salinas River National Wildlife Refuge. Definitely off the beaten track, and didn't have time to explore, but caught this shot on a hazy day. That's the only surviving sand plant left on the central coast.

    Salad and Sand.

Well if you don't tire of my bird shots, here is another one, a hard bird to get. Very spooky and a fast runner. A real pain around other birds as well as it has a tendency to set all the other birds fleeing when it panics. A Killdeer, so named for it's call.

Another killer bird shot. Try as I may, birds are tough captures. My hat is off to you.

Tim, That is definitely a GREEN scene.

Can I talk you into a 960 x 642 posting size? For those of us with older 1440 x 900 monitors. Unfortunately, this ASUS monitor does not like 1920 x 1080 and just forces me to scroll for the extra resolution.

A 24" monitor is on the list.

    Thanks.
