Surely it is one of the finest lingerie I have ever seen. From where could I get that?

These are from a modern day Buddhist temple (built 1973) of the old home province in Cambodia.
    I love the details.

Lovely detail in the feathers, Falcon. No doubt the extra resolution of the D7100 and lack of anti-aliasing filter helped!
Nikon D7000 and a bunch of Nikon stuff oh, and some Canon p&s's too

Yup the D7100 is definitely a step up. Considering you were pushing the Tammy to it's upper limit. Maybe f/8 would have netted a little more shutter speed, but probably not a real factor as it tuned out pretty crisp. The D7100 seems to squeeze out a little more detail, and I'm sure you could easily crop down to the "feather level" without a problem.

    Nice.

Falcon, is that lens the Tamron SP A005 70-300mm F/4.0-5.6 AF VC Di USD? Since it seems to be the only VC 70-300...

Added: I know you said it was the Anniversary model which kind of throws me off a little as far as finding the right lens on e-bay.

    Thanks.

Now for something a little different.

D70fan; Yep the USD means it is the Ultrasonic Silent Drive focus motor. Re: '60th anniv.', Tammy called it that in their ads when it first came out in '11.

Now for a bit different subject:
Here is a church in my city. Christ Episcopal Church, built in 1853, is on the National Registry of Historic Places.
Part of a project I have set myself this year, doing an architectural survey of Binghamton. We have many wonderful late 19th and early 20th Cent. buildings, large mansions and public buildings. Our courthouse which I will post later was one of several buildings designed by Architect Isaac Perry, who designed the New York State Capitol Building.
Lens used was the kit 18-105. (from my D7k)
Tweaked in ACDSee Pro 6 to fix perspective with a little added contrast and a bit of fill light.

To me it looks like moire on the feathers because of the lack of AA filter not detail. It looks far to regular a pattern. I'd love to be able tosee this at 100%.

K1W1; same pattern shows in pics taken w' the D7k. It is on the feathers. D7100 does seem to show it a bit more clearly.
Here is your 100% crop of feather detail. 625x500 pix.
