Nice shot. Seeing the ubiquitous logos reminded me that my daughter used to work for Fox Racing in Morgan Hill. The key here is "used to".

Looks like you had a fun shoot.

    What? No Exif?

Thanks. I was only not much more than arms length away from the bikes as they went past but sheltered by a tree on my left so there was no chance (well not much) of getting hit. The full Exif data is on the Flickr versions of the photos.

Kudos on those shots. Makes me look forward to the Monterey Grand Prix later this year. Maybe even head over to Hollister for some bike trials shots at The Pinnacles (Hollister, CA, not Australia).

I've joined the big croppers with the D800. This started as a 3/4 shot and became a close up.

Absolutely great shot. Always good to have a lot of pixels to work with. Moving from 6 to 16MP made a huge difference for me. Having 36, and a full frame to work with, must be cropper heaven. Maybe someday.

I've been in the crop club for years and generally nobody notices. Welcome I will send you a membership card.

Really nice shot and I love the aspect ratio of the image.

I can't believe the sharpness it still has, from 3/4 body to that and it still looks crystal clear filling a high def screen.
