From that perspective that kangaroo looks totally alien...

Yup, U R right. There may be a very slight bit of motion blurr (i.e. 1/30sec) as I still do have a problem with hand-tremor and diid not have a tripod handy. That said, if you copy the image directly all of the EXIF info is there (I leave the info on every shot). Here is the uncropped version.

Here is another taken HH at 1/15sec, f/5, 42mm, ISO200. Not perfect, but shows that the VR and lens are working correctly.
Try as I might the D7000 could never give me this clear of an image, at any setting, with any lens. For a while I wondered if the VR on the 18-105 and the 55-200 was even working... apparently, it is.

I'm going to be naughty and bomb the thread with a few of my daughters shots from last weeks bushwalk - yes I know it's supposed to be 1 per day . But as I post her shots so infrequently I hope you'll forgive me. BTW she's 12 and makes me sometimes think I should sell my photog gear and take up golf. PS My son took the one of her eating the blackberry, it's the first time he showed an interest in photography in a couple years.
