D70 what Les, K1W1, Rooz said. No where near sharp enough and likely a Sigma problem

Rooz, b+w can be dramatic but sometimes colour just gives the pic that extra punch -- I think this is one of those occasions. Cute!

This is one of those times when color is required. Of course there is the (ultra) "cute" factor. What a great moment in time to capture.
I like the California accent as well... even if it is LA.
