This sign is posted about 3 miles from here... I used to go bow hunting in this area.

A few from yesterday's shoot with the Fuji X-E1. I took a few quick shots after my lighting students got done with theirs (see pullback shot). These were shot using the 18-55 kit lens, JPG, Auto White Balance. B+W conversion done inside of Aperture.

Better pull finger and post a couple before the end of the world I guess.
This mornings 6 shot pano of Melbourne from Mt Dandenong. Got sick of waiting for the cloud over the CBD to burn off

So I made a couple of slightly OTT HDRs instead so the HDR hater crowd will have something to complain about.

Ah. Yup we have all of that. When I would dive here (living in Hawaii for 5 years killed my desire for cold, murky water diving) the kelp forests off of cannery row were always an
amazing experience. Only had a close encounter (~100 meters) with a KW once while diving those same kelp forests off the breakwater in Monterey. They were after the sea lions
(one of their favorite snacks) who live in great numbers at the end of the breakwater.
The Beakwater (corrected):

Something about the beach shots always capture my attention.
A great scene D70Fan but the horizontal line is tilted.
