Nice puppy you have there D70Fan. As time goes, wouldn't you change your name to D700, D7000FAN; or something like that?
Here's my contribution for today. Tourists at the Bayon Temple (12th or 13th century), Cambodia.

Just don't try to take a fish away from him.
Nope. The D70 is my first DSLR (ca. 2004) and still my goto camera. The D7000 needs to go back to Nikon for some focus issues. I thought that by now they would have fixed that problem, but guess not. The D70 is still sharp as a tack with almost any lens.

A little late for Thanksgiving here in the US, but these are our local group of (semi) wild turkeys. There are four or five that frequent the neighborhood.
If it had been up to Ben Franklin this would have been our national symbol and on many government logos... maybe he had a good point.

Nice back... sorry about the face?
I agree, the turks are beautiful except when looking from the front.

Here's another one from an ancient temple in norhthern Cambodia, Preah Vihear Temple.
I wish there was some blue patches of sky... but again I should count myself lucky. We almost didn't make it up to the top of the mountain.

Another nice one Tim, thanks ever so much for sharing it. The composition makes the most of the scene with those beautiful steps but if you're trying to appreciate the temple they sure draw the eye away.
At the very top is that some form of bell tower or is that only Christianity that does that?

No DPRoberts,
It's no bell tower. And I doubt it ever had a bell there even during its heydays. The temple is in fact a Hindu temple. It is where there were arm skirmishes between Thailand and Cambodia recently. So much that an Australian paper noted "two buddish countries fight over an old hindu monument..."

Which one would you prefer: The colour or BW version?

The B&W is pretty darn compelling. Sepia might be interesting as well.
Well done.
