Nice shots, but I'd definitely pay to see a shot of the lioness IN your cow pic
    Critique most definitely desired...

I like the colours. Just a shame there's that grey pathway running across the picture. If you could clone it out, I reckon it would improve the picture 100%. Just mho of course.

The pathway goes with the scene. Not big on changing a shot more than minor settings tweeks in Capture NX2. Rarely use photochop.

    Thanks much for the input/feedback.

Interesting, but not what the location looks like.

It is, what it is... or in this case what it could be, but isn't.

    Glad you like version 2.

I hear what you're saying. Chacun à son goût and all that. But photos can be more than just records, they can be art, too. Even the great masters often re-did their paintings, going over bits they didn't like or had second thoughts about. They didn't hesitate to improve upon nature!

And now, a break from sunrises and sunsets. Same medium, different message, both spotted on my recent vacation.

    Sir Les,

The brewery shot is a bit ironic since Bell's is about 1200 miles from the nearest part of Alaska. And with the exception of some remote islands there is an Alaskan brewery within 1000 miles of nearly every part of Alaska.
