Does that help? LOL
Thanks I needed that.

Interesting. Any chance of a side by side comparison (D600 v D80) -- if you can get your cat to sit still long enough?
Nikon D7000 and a bunch of Nikon stuff — oh, and some Canon p&s's too

I can try but it will have to wait until this weekend.

The shots being posted make me look forward to visiting this site.
What we relly need is a side-by-side of a D600 and D7000... shot at 1/8000.
Seriously though it would be interesting.

Finally getting the hang of the D7000. An amazing camera compared to my old D70. Went for a quick shoot at Moss Landing. This is our summer (for a couple of weeks... we hope).

DPR, my point... exactly.
Not sure why Nikon throttled back the D600. It does not make sense to me. For $2100 one should at least get D7000 shutter speed and flash sync. performance.
Falconest, definately agree.
I'm not really seeing the real benefit of FX over DX yet.

Have you ever shot full frame before? Depends on your photographic needs but full frame definitely has advantages.

Not digital, other than playing with a D700, but of course shot 35mm film (analog FX ) for many years.
But while FX vs DX seems to be a no brainer, I'm not so sure that is true... and posted photos really cannot do justice to most shots.
I'm not trying to harsh everybodies buzz, just trying to analize the value of spending twice as much + the cost of new lenses.
