    Microsoft ICE does a pretty decent job on panoramas and it is free.

    Hugin is also free and the install is a lot less messy than it used to be. I would probably use Ice but Hugin would be worth trying as well; it has more manual control if you need it.

    They would certainly work in the first shot, with the streaming column of light and the opening like a giant mouth. Maybe the heard of cattle and the damned cowboys from "Ghost Riders in the Sky"

    Very nice shots all. Wow go away for a weekend and nice photos magically apear.
    D7000, D70, CP990, CP900, FE + a lens or 6.
