Too noisy and soft to be a good macro shot, but I really wanted to save this somehow. So I added more noise and sharpened the crap out of it. Hope I got the effect I was looking for...
DiamondS; clever!
DPR; Looks like a chilly beach walk. I could have given you some of our heat earlier this week, we hit 97F in the city, cooler now. Had a perfect shooting day today. Posted several shots in the Insect thread but here is one for the Shot of the Day.

Hmm you're making me wish I'd bought the Siggie instead of the 105 micro. I look forward to seeing more as you shoot em.

Here is another pic from Saturday's shoot. I call this one the Bat-dragonfly. Very dark color (colour to you Brits out there ). Background really brings out the small details.
Shot with the Sigma 150.

Nice image Tim, I'd have never believed you could fit it in at 50mm on a crop body.

Nice Tim. You guys with your varied landscapes make me jealous. You got waterfalls, harbors, deserts, all within a few miles. I got trees. Endless reams of green and not much else, lol. I'm movin...
