Not at all, Rod. I for one enjoy seeing your kids covered in mud! But I also don't let the fact that some fabulous photos (like Rich's Gabi, Soho NYC) get posted here deter me from posting, because that's how I learn to take better photos. I appreciate the feedback I get on my own work, and I can admire and learn from the work of others, which in turn inspires me to do better. So fire up that D200 of yours and get posting!
Nikon D7000 and a bunch of Nikon stuff oh, and some Canon p&s's too

I've felt that way after seeing a lot of what a few of the Aussies on this forum shoot.

That 150 does do nice work.

Not as much the lens as the eyeball framing the event and pulling the trigger.

    Nice shooting.

Looks like the D7000 is agreeing with you. As I finally consider upgrading from my trusty old D70, I would love to get my hands on a D800, but realize that it is more camera than my lenses can handle, so the D7000 looks like a logical choice.

Rich, Are you shooting these with the D3 or D300?

Nice portfolio you have going there. Pro models?

I primarily shoot with the D3 these days but considering I had good light and wasn't going for a shallow DOF they would have pretty much looked the same on either body.

Thanks. These shots were both of experienced professional models. The shoot with Gabi also had a hair stylist and a makeup artist as part of the team.
