Question for you DPR: I noticed you don't have any really wide lenses for your D300. Do you not have a need for one, or are you waiting for when you go to full frame?

Very observant JR. I have been waiting to go full frame for a year but the Thailand flood delayed the D800 release on me , I really like 16mm (=24 equiv) as a focal length and have been waiting to get that width from my 24-70. Also someone on here (maybe Rich?) once postulated that togs tend to see in one focal length and struggle to see shots outside it, if that's valid then I'm more a telephoto man and have been trying to adapt to see the world wider.

Back in my FSLR days I had a 24mm - Now I also the 16-85 which starts at the equiv of the old 24
and that mostly enough for me - I wouldn't mind something wider - but would not use
it that often.
