Sorry, but the weather here hasn't been cooperative in providing photogenic scenes or activities. NO snow to speak of, so all we have is brown grass, bare trees, and no ice on the river. (Last year it froze completely across, a distance of more than a hundred yards)

Yah I'm sorry I haven't posted much in here lately. It's just that nobody has told me they loved me or given me a hug or even so much as a nice bunch of flowers. I'll stop short of asking for a wet kiss.

Yup, I like it cropped. The lines work better and there is no distraction from those foreground berries.

A shot from my daughter of me last autumn. I figured topical as we're heading into colder nights now.

Lol...am hoping the sarcasm wasn't lost on you. All this "friendly" talk had me feeling emotional.
I was down your way today, was in mt gambier and now in melb.

No it wasn't lost on me, I tend to take things literally but even that was clear through the keyboard filter.

I kind of figured it might be tongue in cheek because you continue to post so heavily in the "Dons view of the world" thread.

Nice portrait JRB. The B&W treatment works well
