Realistically this is the shot I most hoped to get and I have done so to my satisfaction. I controversially left it a bit flat, I know it's been suggested before I should hit things harder with curves adjust.

Seems like I've inherited my own thread to post in. Anyone else got an image to share ?

Chalk and cheese isn't it if it's just the two of us posting images, mine are all snapshoty and here you are being all artistic. Very nice image Rich.

Not at all, DPR! I for one have been appreciating your photos. Just wish I had more to contribute.
@RichNY: Superb portrait. Reminds me very much of shots from NY in the 1960's era (perhaps it's the Pierre Cardin-like coat collar).
@Geoff Chandler: Sorry you feel that way. I know one or two of us (mentioning no names, ahem) can be a bit crotchety at times, but I think basically we're a decent bunch. Maybe not very effusive, but decent.
Nikon D7000 and a bunch of Nikon stuff — oh, and some Canon p&s's too
I like the frosted berries, but I am not sure that the square crop works with the lines. I find those upper most berries a bit distracting from the crisp colors and details of the subject in the lower right. If I scroll my screen so that the two berries on the top right are just out of view I find the image much more powerful.
