Re the paintball a cheap way is a UV filter on the lens and put the whole cam/lens in a plastic bag with a rubber band to hold it round the lens, just the tip of the lens and UV filter sticking out.

This is a shot of a local transmission tower for the electric utility as it is nearly flooded over. WE have had some very heavy rain lately, 7.49 inches in that last 24 hours. Ground is already saturated and this is the expected result. "Historic' flooding.This tower is normally some 15-18 feet above the water. It is about to get its feet wet. The walkway is atop the floodwall that protects the East bank of the river from flooding the Westernside of he North side of the city.......Got that?
