I just got into photography so any suggestions would be great. Took this from about 60 ft away in the stands through double netting... Have a few more to post later.
Taken with a D90 and 70-300 VR II.

My composition suggestion would be to have him aiming more into the frame than out of it. Either way it helps to show what he is aiming at. My other suggestion is if you are photographing at paintball events, or other camera hostile environments, you might want to be certain to use a UV/clear filter and possibly a rain sleeve. A stray paintball hit to that camera might make it look like a colorful Pentax, but it will likely stop working.

thanks for the suggestions. I am really new at this and this was the first sporting event i took my camera to. I should have thought about the filter. So many things to learn!! I was behind the netting but i will be inside it in a few weeks at the place i normallly play at.
And this is why I keep a camera with me all the time. Wasn't out looking for photos, but pulled into someones driveway just at the right time. This barn was in the field next to their house.
