Pic of a Halloween Pennant d'fly. I like the background and had to work for this shot. Quite a windy day and the grass stem was waving around all over the place.

Kgosden;
No, actually, I was hoping for a faster AF. USM is not fast enuf to catch waving grass stalks, close, far, left, right, up, down, circle left, circle right.

K1W1,
I think you should title that shot 'eye ball.'
Now that soccer season is over, what are you going to do? My son's U11 ended up third and just missed out the grand final.
You're right but I wish I was as good at using PP.
Perhaps, you could give me some pointers on it.
I completely disagree with editing the tall grass; I think it is much stronger with the grass. Because there are two blades of grass the eye is drawn in between the blades and shows the depth of the grass to mountains. I really like the image.
My sons team has two more weeks but we are now in in San Francisco so he will miss both games. They will most likely finish 3rd or 4th out of 11 teams which is about where they usually end up. Seniors games run through till mid Sept with finals but after that there is always summer season or actually doing some stuff around the house and motorcycles of course. I've also been asked to shoot a cross country horse riding event in late November. If that happens it might be some fun.
