We had some nice thunderstorms come through last night. Meanwhile while I was taking pictures of it, my office where I work was getting struck by lightning. Put a big hole in the roof........but were lucky it didn't burn the whole building down.

    Heron fishing on the Fourth

Nice Lightning trax. too bad about your office. Any equipment damaged?
On a lighter and more pleasant note, here is a shot of the first Heron of this summer in my area of the Chenango River.

    Baby Bearded Dragon

Here is a shot from about 10 days ago.
A baby Bearded Dragon, shot in a local pet shop. They wanted $50 US for these. At about 5" long that is about $10 an inch. As the adults get quite large an adult could be quite pricey.

Hey Falconest, I have one of those guys as a pet. He is about 1.5 years old and 18" long. I don't think he'll get much larger.
If this were the Canon POTD thread, I'd post a pic.

Hah.....that's a good question. It's hard to see in the pictures, but there is a barge under the second span to the right of the center span where they have been working on rapairing the bridge. They've been working on it for over a year and they're not even half way.
