The AF in low-light isn't great (it could probably be rated as fair) for moving objects on the G2, but in decently to well lit scenarios i've had no issues with moving objects. But the GF1 (and G1) were earlier generation products to the G2 (and G10 / GF2). I had initially brought the G2 with me and not my Nikon gear as I was going to a festival and didn't have anywhere I felt I could securely leave the camera and in the conditions at the event I did not want to damage it either

the gf1 does not support continuous AF, (AF-C), with the 20mm lens at all. so it wasnt a matter of it not being good enough or quick enough. it doesnt exist.

the people shots in low light you are talking about are all pretty much at infinity so small movements arent relevant to subject focus. ie: as long as you get an initial lock and hit the shutter button, small incremental movements wont matter. try doing that when the subject is only a couple of metres, (or less), away...very different story.

Another use of mirrors - not like the other one where I hid the tripod in the wooden framing. With this one, the challenge was not blowing out the window while using available light.

Very nice picture. But perhaps more important, very nice freakin' bathroom. I'm thinking of redoing mine and that one gives me many ideas.

Is that a shower to the left hand side? Where there is no door and a window to the tub? If so that is a very cool idea. Maybe some day when I own my own house I will do something like that.

Hello all! I haven't shared any photo's on here in a while and just had fun playing with my new CS5.

Here is a picture that I actually took in July and just got around to giving it the full treatment. My first time using CS5 for an HDR or for a photo in general. I am a photoshop Noob.

Is that a shower to the left hand side?

Yes have a look at the reflection in the mirror on the right. You can clearly see the shower rose hanging from the ceiling.

Nice work trackin. Only suggestion I can make is when you mask the sky try feathering / expanding the mask edge by a few pixels. You've got some halo around the horizon.
