The great sport of roller derby is a fine and wholesome American tradition. Going back decades, it provides spectators with the opportunity to watch scantily-clad women skate around a track and beat the hell out of each other. Reduced to it's essence, it's not too different from boxing or (American) football. Only with hard-ass ladies. And cool nicknames.
