Thanks for the comments Dennis. I hope someday my Landscape photography can come somewhere near as good as yours!
I added a little blue hue and saturated the sky because I thought it looked a little flat and dull due to the rainy cloud conditions but the more I look at it, the blue is a bit distracting!
Back to my comfort zone....
Thanks Jason.
When enhancing sky, I usually try to increase the local contrast with colour control points. Using curves on the sky only or using an unsharp mask can work as well. Since this treatment sometimes raises the saturation, I usually lower it after that. This way you get a sky with more texture, but without a colour cast.
Great shots, by the way. When you shoot models like that I can see why you would stay in your comfort zone
Here's a picture I took today. The sky looked quite interesting today, but I didn't have time to shoot so I only took this one from my window.

I've been busy with relocating and organizing but I was able to take some time and get my D90 and 17-55 out for a stroll.
Thanks. Relocating as in moving sucks. I used to move a lot and lived very "lightly" because of it.
I still have yet to go through some more hockey photos and last night I went out shooting some illusionist act and some zombie band. Saturday looks like some civil war reinactment photos. I did go through one of acts from last night.
What else can I write, get out there and take more photos.

I turned down shooting roller derby a couple of Fridays ago, but I would have done it if the "calendar girl" looked like that one. Since they relocated their rink or are playing in a different spot than last year, I mentioned that I would go ahead and shoot the next game. Hopefully, there won't be too many big ones in too tight of tights and too many tats. Practice anyway I guess.
