Maybe you should set some conditions first, at least make it hard. Say he can only use a 50mm lens. Or at least get him to pay for some decent coffee. I'll be up in sydney at the end of the year so I'll probably go to taronga zoo as one of the sites to see. Enjoy the Moto GP, isn't a D300 and 70-200 somewhat weather sealed, you'll be fine.

yeah thats plenty sharp. they are tough to get right. interesting angle there.

It had perched up in a tree behind to my right, so I was shooting from almost underneath it.

I only go to motorsport at that level these days when somebody gives me a free ticket to a VIP tent otherwise it's a bit like having to sit in the departure lounge instead of the Qantas Club. Got a spare?
