/\ /\ /\ Aldor, that's dang sharp for being through a window on a moving train!! Nice!

Particularly wonderful shots Andrew (frog- freaking cool shot), Rich (bug on finger.. WOW), Marius (moon shot- great use of that lens!! Incredible!), & Prospero (cityscape.. Gorgeous!) Really stunning, all of them. And you're gonna love that tablet Rooz.

Thanks for the compliments Prospero, Rich, Kiwi,, & Rooz! I appreciate it..

here's another from the Smoky Mountains..

This is an 80 foot waterfall called Ramsey Cascades. It's so hard to portray how tall (and beautiful) it was in a photo.. I wish my wife would've gotten a picture of my tripod setup on this one.. it was on the side of a huge boulder.. One leg extended, other two retracted.. camera hanging of the side to get in portrait orientation.. SCARY!! But I was trying to get a tree on the left out of the frame.. lol.

Nice shot Josef. It has the oil painting effect.

K1W1... very creative. It took me a while to realise what/how it's done. lol

Seriously this thread just keeps getting elevated in terms of photos,
as if you feed off the energy of others.

Oh yeah. Mr Casual "I just use a long zoom, a couple of flashes and some extension tubes".
You will be very dangerous when you eventually upgrade the D50.

I prefer the first one. The mist in the top right has me thinking I have blurry eyesight.
