Hey guys and gals,
Im new here and fairly new to photography.
Got my D90 about 5 months ago and just wanted to post some shots and get feedback. I have been learning a lot from this great site and have a long ways to go.
Im an artist (day job as a Graphic Designer)and can do about anything creative and just want to get really good at photography...I hope..haha.
Here are some shots of my dog "BOSS" and my 69 Camaro.
I did very little to this as far at the sky and the car go. I did get rid of some other cars and some people. I turned them into grass and trees.
I made some prints with a darker sky that looked cool but the tops of the trees looked funny. The tops were lit up.
I wish I had more of the back rim showing but I think it would have lost some impact if I was at a different agnle.

@sako1: Great pic of Boss (aka Inspector Rex). I love the way German Shepherds look so intelligent, even when they're only thinking of their next meal.
@Tomcat: OK, I give up. Where's the door handle?
Nikon D7000 and a bunch of Nikon stuff — oh, and some Canon p&s's too
My 2000th post. Who'd have ever thought I'd get to 2,000.

16-85VR at F/22, ISO400, no polariser - forgot to take it.
Taking Lukas' advice about forground, midground and background interest plus leading lines a bit far perhaps

Wasn't brave enough to post this on my milestone as someone might have said I've wasted time trying to turn a snapshot artsy
