These don't look as good on here as they do when opened in PSE6 or when they are printed out.

This one was taken with no flash, VR 18-55, FL 18mm, ISO 800, SS1.3s, Apt f/3.8, Manual Mode, hand held. I had to sit down to take this. I didn't take my tri pod. It has quite a bit of noise.

This one is better. I used my SB 800. Same lense. i shot this one in Auto mode. I want to print this one in a 18x24 to hang on my wall but not sure where I'll hang it. Like I said this one looks alot better in the original file and no noise when printed.

terrifically sharp as per usual. i'd try and add some blur to the top right to tone down that horrendous backlit bokeh. i have the same problem with the 35/2 in similar light.

It was about 2 degrees away from snowing. I was thankful any of the photos actually resembled people. Does VR compensate for teeth chattering?
