they're not recessed. that test button is still easy to press. this is a real design flaw...as is the lack of anything to attach a lanyard to. i know there are workarounds, but nevertheless...such simple errors its hard to believe that people didn't think of them or that they would have added much more to the unit cost.

Oh, well they stick up less than mine. My biggest complaint is the lack of a loop for a lanyard. The button is annoying, but I've never had problems with it getting pushed in my bag. However, I do accidentally push it when I'm handling the trigger (usually when the flash is pointed right at my eyes).

no good. i use bungee cords for that.

I assume that these things connect to an individual flash via a cable od some sort so you have the transmitter in the camera hot shoe and then one of these attached to each flash lighting your scene.
if that's the case and the flash is on a stand on a flat surface I assume that there is no problem. If the flash is mounted on a tripod of in a tree or balanced on a rock or something I assume that is where the problem occurs so for those situations is it not possible to put a small square of Velcro on the side of the flash body and a corresponding square on the back of the Cybersync? That way if you mount one you automatically mount the other.

Thanks Rooz! Of course looking at them now, I wish I would have done this here and this there but that's to be expected I guess. I really think that I have come a long way in the last year.

Nice set kjmdrumz3. Watch your lighting powers, I noticed in a few of those shots there was a lot of hot spots on your models skin.
