12C cold? <chuckle> Don't come near Saskatchewan then. We don't start whining until -30C. At -40C, the snivelling really gets loud. At -50C we stay inside.

Well these weren't taken with my nikon. But these are the first pictures I took that made me say wow...i want to that more. And from there I went out and bought my nikon. So here you go...my first decent pictures! I thought you guys might enjoy them..

None of the three pics are photoshopped believe it or not...

Hopefully slightly modified pics aren't too frowned upon here 
This is a pic that I took in the Fall of 2008 in the Wentworth Valley of Nova Scotia, then ran through the Watercolour function of MS Paint (fancy processing ).

The unmodified pic can be found here

I didn't know Paint can do that.
