Nice landscape, HRD?. I tried an almost identical landscape once but I didn't get it even close to as good as that one. The sky looks a bit unnatural somehow tho.

Thanks. It was a HDR, but I blended the sky from one of the individual exposures into this picture. Around the edges of the trees that was a bit hard, though.

beautiful shot denis. i think the flash is too hot though. its overpowering the scene. i'd have shut it down by around 2 stops personally.

Thanks ANP and Rooz
Rooz, do you think in the second version I posted the flash still overpowers the scene? I am not sure about it myself. I could easily drop the exposure by another stop or two.
Nice lighting in the above picture. I really like the reflection.

Is that the strap that came with your D80? It looks like a fairly old strap from the previous gen nikons like D100. I would have thought yours would have come with the black strap and yellow writing.

personally yes. i think it would have been nicer with the flash wound right back to give some definition to the leaves but not so much that it overpowers the rest of the scene.

The first ever strap I got was in 1970. Four of the best for being inside the classroom before school.
