As we're almost reaching 10,000 posts i thought it a good opportunity to post the first photo I ever took with my D300.. It's kinda a nutty one
PS. Rooz - Searched for via here and then showed someone your photos with the 50 1.4 G last night to demonstrate the difference such a lens makes and why i wanted one
PPS. Whoever posts the 10,000th post better post a really good photo!!
do you think the grass at his feet, (sharp jaggy bits), are distracting ? its buggin the shit outta me now...
I rather like it, personally. Since it is sharp but the rest of the grass is out of the DOF, it gives the shot a great sense of depth in my opinion. Plus when I look at your image, my eyes are automatically directed to the face, so the grass at the feet does not distract me at all. Just a thought, great shot regardless!
Thronson, nice shots. The Fog in these images is great.
Cyberwlf, nice shot. I like the colours and DOF.
DPR, beautiful shots. Very nice portrait and macro. I think the DOF and lighting of the macro shot is great.
Sergio, I like your picture. Very nice silhouette. I think it would be even better if you hadn't cut of her hands. Perhaps it would also be better if you shot it from a lower angle, to get her silhoute also in front of the coloured sky.
Rooz, very nice shot. The grass doesn't bother me at all.
ANP, beautiful series. The background is amazing. How did you all those colourful highlights in the background?
