    Nice shot!

we had a house burn down a street over 2 weeks ago. I thought about grabbing the camera but decided that just felt wrong to me. Then again, I wouldn't have thought of contacting the news to see if they could use it.

Thanks all for the kind comments on my IR image i posted a couple of days ago. Too bad there weren't any clouds in the sky.. I think it would have made it look better.

    Another one from sat...

Used the 55-200mm lens (which hopefully is not broken! see other thread).

Nice shot herc - I am a little puzzled by it however - as the grass & background seems somehow bleached
or glazed (don't quite know what term to use) whereas the foreground trees are fine.
Was it a very bright day??

Looks like a lens problem to me... possibly something foreign has gotten onto one of the elements?

    Rooz,

I took your advice on the bellydancer photo on my flickr page, and did a bit of a tighter crop. I also added a texture for effect. My first attempt at textures.
