Posted a few new pics on my flickr stream. looking for suggestions on how to post-process one in particular. Can't post it here due to content, but it's "Sasha Teaser 3". There are background elements I may want to remove, maybe add a texture to it... Open to suggestions.

Why the hell not? I don't see anything wrong with it. Some people here need to seriously take a chill pill...

Anyway, I agree the stuff on the left side is a little distracting. I'd go with your idea, looks good.

THANG, those IR shots are amazing!

Here is a long shutter speed image I took of a moonrise. No tripod used, I was holding the camera body against a light post. Not as sharp as I had hoped, but I thought the colors looked pretty neat.

The light reflection in your shot is pretty sick. and the picture looks pretty sharp to me. very resourceful using the light post.

I am still trying to figure out this D80 very frustrating indeed. Any suggestions besides find a new hobby

I may have to try IR myself. Starting to dig those photos. Also read that IR is good for portrait photography since it covers up skin flaws.

I took the camera out for a spin yesterday. I also wanted to take the jet in the background out for a spin but I figured with armed Security Forces being only a few yards with authorization to use deadly force, it might not be a good idea. A few close ups of the cars, jets, sign, etc. are on my Flickr account.
