spring is in the air...cant wait for nicer weather !
I can't wait to get faster shutterspeeds from actually having sunlight. The last couple months I've been feeling like I live in Europe. Until I got the interest in photography I'd never have believed how overcast Australia can get in winter.

I shouldn't have used capture nx for my pp but it was sure easy.

Nice shot DPR, did you darken the sky a bit in PP? It works pretty well, my eye is drawn to the brighter flowers in the front.
A shot of mine when I was bored and went out into the backyard. Taken with D70s and Nikon 60mm macro. Popup flash was used for a bit of fill. It's probably the first time I've used the built in flash for months, or years. It does pretty well for fill.
Yeah you caught me out. I only used 2 control points and once I uploaded it I couldn't take my eyes off them they stood out so much. I deleted that shot and uploaded one with many more control points in the sky in it's place. Hopefully it's not so obvious now.
Like your flowers Andrew. Wish I had some of them amongst my weeds Still only the 2nd day of spring here.

This second version is much better, can't tell it's been PP'd. On the original I noticed a bit of a halo around the tree stump, now there's none. I wouldn't have guessed there's much PP on this second version.
Spring's come right on time this year, not soon enough as I've had enough of winter.

Rooz and achuang, nice close-ups!
This is an older picture of mine that I decided to get creative with recently (the original version is here). I'm not 100% sure if I like the new one more. I was going for a darker look for the camera's view, and a brighter look on the reflections.
