Turo, love the dog action shot.

Rooz a bit of a departure from bugs and birds, I love that image even though I don't know why or which bits in focus. Lovelly.

Tori a lovelly photo, hope you use it as wallpaper.

That RC shot is awesome TNB.

Rooz. excellent DOF shot. I saw it was the 50 1.4. If I didn't check, I would have never guessed it was with flash as well. I wish I can do that

Tori. You definitely got this one. Every nice. It should be on a wall.

Turo. That must have been fun. nice shot

Btuner. Nice Car and picture. very sharp.

DPR. Nice concept. Do they let you in there?
    Ditto!
The action and quality of this thread is fast and furious!
    Great work everyone!

Tori, you absolutely nailed it with that last photo! The CP & GND combo' seems to work a treat!

Rooz's pp skills save the day again!
If only my pp skills were as good as Rooz's ..., but honestly if Rooz's skills are, shall we say, pretty basic, mine are non-existent! ...
(the learning curve can seem very steep indeed! )

    Chicken in Run

I was finding it hard to get a reasonable photo of some chickens in the run.
    So:
I passed the camera down through the wires at one end and aimed it, blindly,
trying to make sure it was pointed in the right direction and looked about level
    This was the result...

I just love night cityscapes and this is a great shot!
Have you done any altered/tweaked versions?? I am thinking a less red/bluer version - I think that colouring is beyond the range of the Auto WB (D80 limit is somewhere around 3500K, not sure about the D70).
Would be interesting to see a few variations.

I find it hard to believe but I like your chicken shot! - Nice composition and DOF.

The chook looks a bit stuck on the background, was that the original shot or has it had sharpening that has caused that effect?

The primates were gracious enough to follow the rule of 1/3rds while they tried to kill each other before my eyes last week.
(At least after post process cropping)

Don't know if I should burn in that foreground rock a bit or if it's good so bright to give some counterpoint.
