What lens did you use, it looks like ambient light too? Any tricks. Where is the location even, I didn't know Vic had a motor museum.

Seriously I have no idea about the sharpening. That is what they look like.
It's the Southward Car Museum just north of Wellington (that's New Zealand of course ). The photo was taken when I was there on holiday in early 2006.
The lens was my 18-55 mark 1 kit lens and I did not use the flash.
I used my Nikkor 50 1.8 for the first time and I was blown away by the pictures I was able to get in the dark. This is the first fast lens I've had and what a difference. This was shot at 1/125 @ F/1.8 ISO 800. What an awesome little lens that everyone should have. Seemed like I always had someones head in the way.
