Aldor - whatever your source of lighting on the rocks, I really like how it turned out.

Here's one from a couple months ago:

Shot pretty much at minimum focus distance of the 55-200mm VR - no close-up filter used. If this was a Tamron or Sigma lens, they'd probably try to call it a "Macro".
EXIF:
Camera: Nikon D40
Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/640)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 200 mm
ISO Speed: 200

The feather detail is insane, Rooz. Really like the shot.

Wow, there are some seriously amazing shots being posted here lately! Here is my contribution for today, taken with my slowly dying D50 and trusty 35-70mm. I snapped this pic on Ft Lauderdale beach. If you notice, the lifeguard tower has 2 flags. Red means high hazard (VERY strong current in the water) and the purple means marine life warning (there was apparently some bacteria in the water). The weather was so nice though, that neither of those things stopped people from enjoying the beach!
