    My polarizer works after all!

I had been thinking that my polarizer fader didn't work as a "real" polarizer. Turns out it was user error, imagine that

I did NOT post-process the sky here. Pretty much the only PP is using selective brightness/contrast to raise the exposure 1.25 stops on everything except the clouds and water. I used the polarizer fader as a variable neutral density filter to darken the scene just to the handholdable range (and, obviously, to turn the sky that deep blue color.)

    18mm, 1/25 sec., f/14, ISO 200

I realize I haven't visited or commented in a while (though some may prefer that ), but I thought I would share this photo I took today since I just thought it was sooooo cute.

I'm learning to retouch in PS, you wouldn't want to see my first attempts, but I think it is improving to almost acceptable. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Looks good Tori, only thing is that polarizer seems to be adding a color cast to the image.

I don't know about it being a colour cast, could it be that there's nothing big and obvious approaching white so the rocks and water have a grayish appearance? Just this newbies 2c. Oh and lovely images Tori and TNB.

Your polariser rocks, mine arrived last week and I haven't tried it yet
