    K1W1, this one has a much different look than the last shot you posted (which I loved, BTW.) It looks more flashed, to me. Did you use flash? What were the differences in setup between the two pics?

    You are asking me about set up? I have no idea to be honest.
    I suspect that I may have used full flash on this rather than fill flash. I am having trouble coming to grips with this whole flashing in public thing.

    Edit: I just looked at the Exif for the first one. There was no flashing involved. I used the non flash version of the photo.

    shutter speed is higher so much more flash power used to expose the foreground and less ambient light entering the scene.

    Yeah. That's what I said. I was being creative and highlighting the highlights so that the highlights were nicely highlighted and if you have any objections go take your own motorbike photos.
    What you you know about flashing anyway?

    I took the camera and the tripod to the beach this weekend and got a few sunset shots. I tried several slow shutter speed shots after sunset and liked the results.
