I have been away for a few weeks so I am a bit behind. I had about 20 pages to go through this morning. There were some great pics over the last few days. Toriaj, btuner, Rooz and Dread Pirate - all great work.

Delobbo - Great shot. I was just in Chicago and a great time. Fun city. Here is one from my trip.

This one took some work. I am just starting to learn HDR and this was one of my first trys. It was from one raw file and then had some lightroom as well as photoshop work as well. I have a ways to go but I am already having fun with the results. What do you think?

I did remarkably little PP on this shot. The trees really were these colors. Beautiful in bloom. I used my 1.2 ND grad on the sky. I probably didn't need the small aperture here though. I was experimenting with the DOF aspect, and so far I have not noticed any "diffraction" in the shots. I spent an hour taking pictures at this spot :P

It's in Wanship, Utah. If you go to my flickr, view that shot and look on the right, you can click to see a map.

Rooz, how do you use off-camera flashes at the zoo? Do you have friends hold them?

delobbo, for stitching panos, the best program I've found is Autostitch.

The interface is a bit rough but it works like magic.... I won't post an example here (it was shot with a Canon!), but if you search my flickrstream for 'mirage', you will find one of the Mirage hotel in Vegas which was shot handheld).

This is a great shot. I really like the composition and it has a classic color scheme to it.

It isn't HDR if it was only one shot though. What all did you do to it? Often times I see people tone map single images to create a pseudo-HDR look (surreal, dreamy) but it looks like you didn't go that route here, which I like.
