I like that one Btuner, that sunset doesn't steal attention from the car and just fills out the frame beautifully.

The lake was reasonably still and the streetlights and houselights on the far side of the lake were reflecting pretty well. My pod shots were nothing special (cheap pod) so I thought lateraly and hand held a 15 sec exposure whilst panning left to right across the lake at the same time as oscillating up and down a bit.

~ nevertheless - an excellent shot. I love the light in the monkeys eyes - really makes the photo come alive - also nice sharp focus on them and the blurring of the cage bars - the distant look - almost longing, suggest it wold like to be free - lovely shot!!
Edit:BTW - was it manual focus - or did the D300 work it out for you - great control of focus and DOF.

MF first to get past the bars, then AF on the eye.
btuner, that shot is insanely good man. your car shots are exceptional.
