    Actually I have three frames of the tractor, one of which is almost identical to the vertical one but for some reason just didn't see as interesting. I'll post it later when I get home and see what ya'll think.

    I prefer the horizontal image. The shadow detail on the engine is better as well.

    ..I like the landscape version of the tractor better as well, in fact that one is a very nice photo/composition.

    stretch it by another $100 to $600 and you get the sigma 150mm. i think the new AF-S 60mm nikkor is around the $570 mark aswell. otherwise, you're gonna be limited to MF only.
