Ok, one of my jobs today was to get my mountain bike ready for a week away in the New Forest. Had a theraputic morning putting bits on, fabricating and greasing bits etc. Decided I should take a photo of it. Nothing too exiting really - but it is my photo of today. (D80, Sigma 28 - 200 @52 manual focus!! ISO400 F5.6, 160th sec - for those who like details)
I wish you a nice adventure on your bicycle Geoff. Nice Trek you got there. It looks stout.
res222 - Nice capture of "emotion during the pitch". Good color and composition.
Canon EOS 50D,7D and some lens and equipment.

This is from a bike trail that used to be a railroad grade. Flat and no cars allowed, just the way I like it
I like this one best:
18mm, 1/60, f/8, ISO 200
But I like this one for showing the landscape. Also the difference between 18 mm and 48mm perspective. (Check out the relative size of the semi trucks!)
48mm, 1/60, f/6.3, ISO 200
C&C always appreciated, especially concerning PP
I used my polarizer fader on these shots. It seems excellent as a variable ND filter, but I'm not sure it produces any polarized sky effect.
Res222 if that's your boy that shot is worth framing.
Jerbear have you got enough pixels to try a horizontal crop on that to make the tractor a central element? Just an idea, it is also nice as it is.
Great landscape for photography Tori.
Have a good trip Geoff, I'm envious.

Beautiful image, nicely composed and executed Btuner. Great use of the leading lines and that contrast of the black sky. Good DOF as well. Love it.
BTW what apperture and resulting shutter speed?
