Very nice Rooz. Great use of the light.
Here's a picture I took today of a bug. It's the first decent bug shot I took. Not nearly as good as the Rooz's bug shots, but I'm pretty happy with it.
I took it with the Kiron at f/4 (I think), ISO 400, 1/320s.

Thanks Tori.
Andy, your picture makes me thirsty
I like the lighing of the picture you posted on the DIY HD BD thread better; it looks a bit more even. The blown out spot above the beer looks a bit distracting to me.

nice fly macro denis ! now you can understand the pain of trying to get these little critters to do what you want them to do and sit where you want em to. !
taken the plunge with the 35 andy ? you're gonna love it. excellent lighting and i love the tutorial. i think maybe i'd like to see a bit more colour and richness in the beer...or is that what piss-poor amercian beer looks like in real life ?

Its what piss pour american beer looks like - the image is a little desaturated - but I boosted the color of the beer back close to what it should be. You're right prospero, that blown out part is a little distracting.
